2 Corinthians 1:1-4 KJV
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: [2] Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. [3] Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; [4] Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Here God is called the God of all comfort. Everytime you are in a tribulation, the scripture says here that the Lord will comfort you. The comfort of God is a help rendered in times of need so that things do not go worse.
John 16:33 KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Jesus informs us of trouble ahead in John 16:33, reassuring us that He has overcome the world. Have the βknowingβ that it is in God’s intention to comfort you in all your troubles.
Psalm 34:19 KJV
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Being afflicted could be a sign that you are righteous. It does not necessarily mean that you have done something wrong. There is a BUT to any trouble that you are going through: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. The Lord reassures you that He will deliver you out of ALL your troubles whether you are directly responsible for them or not.
