Anderson’s Great Schools of Dune trilogy
A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Evil Sister evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident voiced by Valya Harkonnen is from an event called the “Mentats of Dune.” All three books involve the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors.

Honestly, the entire time I watched the show, I felt like I was on SyFy. I’ve heard that you have to read the book to understand the series, so maybe that’s why.
Unfortunately, I think it falls into the category of recent shows like Rings of Power (which I would argue is better)
the story just didn’t feel rich or engaging (as I found myself getting distracted by everything around me, and that happens when I lose focus). While you could say the production value was great, it just doesn’t feel like it belongs on MAX, especially alongside their other big hits.
